In The News: POURA KARMIKA'S DAY celebrated on 30-09-2015 at Kannada Sangha, Robertsonpet, KGF. During the Poura Karmika's day farewell given to retired and transfered employees and also different cultural & sports activities organised for employees of the municipality.

PTIS: We are very happy to intimate the citizens of Robertsonpet city that we have computerized all property details of municipal limits under "Aasthi" GIS based Property Tax Information System,  citizens can view their property details by using PID (Property Identification Number) number. 
Birth and Death: We also computerized the Birth and Death records from 1990 to till date and online registration of Births & Deaths and issuing of computerized certificates is in practice.  Citizens can search and view the birth and death record and obtain computerized certificate through  citizen service center (Sakala) by paying service fee.
About Municipality: The Robertsonpet, Kolar Gold Field (KGF) is situated in the southern parts of Bangarpet Taluk in Kolar District, Karnataka State. CMC, Robertsonpet, KGF is handling the administration of the city. CMC, Robertsonpet is the biggest municipality among the district, which occupies 58.12 Sq. Km of area, with Population 162230 as per 2011 census. CMC, Robertsonpet, KGF extending its Fundamental, Developmental and Socio-Economical services to Robertsonpet, Andersonpet, Oorigaumpet, Pottenahalli, Lower Muskam, Gonamakanahalli, Gollahalli and other areas along with BGML (Mining)and BEML areas comes under the CMC limits. 
History: Robertsonpet Town Municipal Council was constituted under section 9 of Karnataka Municipal Act 1964. In the year 1983 Town Municipal Council is upgraded to City Municipal Council. The BGML mining area which was previously handling by Sanitary Board and BEML areas was brought under the CMC limits in the year 1996. Sanitary Board was merged with CMC in the year 2000.
How to Reach: KOLAR GOLD FIELDS is well connected by rail and road with almost all the important cities in the state. The Nearest airport is at Bangalore.
